About Me
Dr. Fonda Mosal, LMFT, LMHC, NCC, CMCC.

My role as your therapist is to challenge you, provoke insight, teach new skills and encourage you to explore the choices available to you and envision options for a preferred future.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Florida and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of South Carolina. I hold a Master of Science degree in Management from Troy State University, a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Florida, a program accredited by the Counseling and Related Education Programs (CACREP), and a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University.
My first career was as a military officer in the US Army which provided leadership, mentorship and counseling responsibilities. After 20 years of service, I decided to follow my passion of working with people in transforming their lives. During my former career, I lived in Europe and Asia for a combined 13+ years. I am open and comfortable working with clients from a background different than my own.
In my free time my husband and I enjoy traveling, shopping and trying new foods. Okay, maybe the shopping is just me. As a mother of four, I am quite the master logistician; nothing like trying to be at two different sports games at the same time.
I believe we have the capacity to resolve our own challenges, but occasionally could use some assistance. Together through a professional counseling relationship we can explore and work to resolve difficult life issues.
